1.Use the Chrome browser on your phone (not the email app’s browser). Alternatively, you can scan the QR code in the email if one is provided. To copy the GuestLink from the invitation email, press and hold the “Click here to get started” text, select “Copy Link,” then paste it into Chrome. Alternatively, you can use a family member’s or friend’s smartphone by scanning the QR code in the original email if your device is unavailable.

2.For Android devices, go to Settings > Apps > Chrome > Permissions > Camera, then select Allow. For iPhone devices, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera and enable Chrome, or navigate to Settings > Chrome > Camera and switch access on. Ensure that both front and back cameras are functional, as the front camera is required for selfies and the back camera for document uploads. Additionally, ensure that both front and back cameras are functional as they are required for the GuestLink process.

  1. Check stable internet connection (WiFi recommended). Connect to a secure Wi-Fi network for better stability during the process.

  1. Link won't open: Copy link from email, paste into Chrome browser, don't tap directly in email. Avoid using in-app browsers or email viewers, as they may block camera access.

5.Upload fails: Check WiFi, clear browser cache, free up storage, restart phone. Clearing cookies in addition to the browser cache can also help resolve upload issues. Relaunch the GuestLink in Google Chrome after clearing the cache and cookies to retry the upload.

6.Additionally, ensure your device is updated to the latest operating system version and consider trying an alternative device if the issue persists. Update Google Chrome to the latest version to ensure compatibility with the GuestLink process.

7.Link expired: Contact employer for new link (14 days as default). Each link is single-use and time-limited, so you may need to request a fresh link.

If you're unable to proceed, ask your employer to arrange an alternative submission method or submit your documents on your behalf. Alternatively, you can use a family member’s or friend’s smartphone by scanning the QR code in the original email, ensuring their device meets the requirements.
