When a supported identity document is submitted for verification, TrustID will return one of four possible outcomes. Each outcome reflects the assessment of the document’s authenticity, quality, and compatibility with available validation methods.

Possible Verification Results

1. Accepted

The document passed all available checks.


Meaning:

  • No suspicious characteristics detected

  • Document appears genuine and valid

2. Failed

The document did not pass verification checks.


Meaning:

  • Suspicious or fraudulent characteristics detected

  • Examples include fake documents, data inconsistencies, or chip mismatch issues

3. Rejected

The document could not be assessed due to quality issues.


Meaning:

  • Poor or unreadable image quality

  • Glare, blur, cropping, or obstructed details prevented verification

4. No Validation

The system was unable to perform verification.


Meaning:

  • Validation not available for the specific document

  • Unsupported document type or format
